Hi all you amazing people! We hope you are well and are finding times for community and care as we come into the US autumnal season and various holidays throughout the world! Here are a few updates for you to be aware of:

Backerkit

The Backerkit Survey is now available to all our Backers! Here’s what you need to know.

• Check your emails and your spam folders to look for this email. If you’ve received the survey, GREAT, please fill out the survey and let’s get this rolling! If you do not receive the survey please reach out to [email protected] so that we can make sure that you get the survey!
  
• Note that there is not an option to switch pledge levels. This was a decision made to help us manage the backerkit effectively. If there are rewards from higher pledge levels you are interested in, you may add them to your survey in the Add-On section or through the pre-order store. If you have more questions about this please reach out to Jake via email.
  
• Shipping charges, pre-orders and add-ons from your survey will finalize in mid December. Within a week or two after finalization, we will release an update notifying of the date your transaction will be processed.
  
• If there are issues or questions, members of the Backerkit support team, and Jake Huebsch from Ink and Lyre will talk with you to resolve them. We are watching out social media channels and the kickstarter comments and will answer questions as quickly as we can.
  

Shipping Prices

As you fill out the survey, you will see that the shipping costs have increased, especially on the US based shipping, but we believe this pricing is correct. This change is due primarily to additional fulfilment and shipping charges we discovered recently and failed to recognize early on in our process. Projecting future costs is difficult, and the US based shipping price estimate was off. Given the even more tumultuous times we are currently facing, these estimates are even more challenging.

Shipping to countries outside of the US and bundle pricing is close to what we expected and those prices have only moved slightly, as the global shipping environment fluctuates. We are exploring options to provide more value to you all in light of the estimation mistake. Expect more updates in the coming weeks.

Global Supply Chain (Continued)

There is a lot going on for global supply chains right now, as you are likely well aware and we want to be as transparent as possible with all of you when it comes to fulfilling Stargazer’s Guide to Aroria.There is a possibility we could see some delays in fulfilment due to the global supply chain. We are monitoring the situation while talking with our partners, including our printers and warehouses. As more information reveals itself, we will remain in conversation with you should this situation impact fulfilment.
